<h1>Rims</h1><i>Re-designed from the ground up so your wheels are the least of your worries as you focus on the stage ahead. Offering up mixed rim widths (33/31mm internal) to handle the different tasks front and rear wheels face. Optimized for 2.35"-2.6" tyres, the EnduroWide rim provides support to the tyre during hard cornering or hucking off that step-down you've been eying off for a few months! </i>
<h1>WEIGHT</h1> <i>Mountain bikers aren't concerned about weight, right? Nope! Whether you're doing a back-country epic or pedalling between stages, we have paid attention to weight to suit the type of riding they will be subjected too. For example, using the highest specification Pillar triple butted spokes with PSR (Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement) has allowed us to not only create a stronger wheel with a higher spoke count, but one which does not add a weight penalty.</i>
<h1>Front Hub</h1><i>We have gone all out on the front hub and beefed it up over our XCWide and TrailWide wheelsets. Featuring an oversized shell to accommodate larger and extremely durable bearings and 7075-T6 series alloy axles to increase stiffness. These hubs have been selected based on their ability to perform on the most aggressive trails.</i>
<h1>Rear Hub</h1><i>The demands of modern day Enduro riding are tougher than ever before, so the EnduroWide hubs have been designed with oversized 17mm axles to increase stiffness and bearing durability. On the rear, the Hunt RapidEngage MTB hubs with a fast 5 degree engagement, means you will be able to put the power down straight out of the corners. </li>
<h1>Spokes</h1><i>We have chosen top of the line, triple butted Pillar Spokes with increased reinforcement at the spoke head. Not only are these spokes extremely lightweight, they are also able to provide a greater degree of elasticity when put under increased stress. The Pillar Spoke Reinforcement (PSR) puts more material at the spoke head, just before the J-Bend to prevent failure in this stress area.</i>

Featuring a H-Lock rim bead with 'up-kicks' to the shoulders of the rim bed secures your tyre when seated. This prevents side-to-side movement reducing the chance of burping your tyre. It creates a great rim-well seal for first installation and easy sealing of tubeless tyres. Still haven't made the switch? All our wheels are tube compatible as well.</i>

After almost three years of valiant service on local trails and EWS stages alike, with numerous awards and accolades along the way, the restless design team here at HUNT saw an opportunity to update the Enduro Wide wheelset to meet the evolving demands of today’s riders.

Listening to our athletes on the EWS circuit, we developed a testing protocol to ensure the Enduro Wide can take a beating on the most unforgiving trails without flinching. Our engineers built an impact test rig specifically for the task, then using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) they optimised the material distribution ensuring the strongest rim without incurring a weight penalty.

To better suit the differing needs of each wheel, a front (33mm int.) and rear (31mm int.) specific profile is utilised; designed for compliancy and grip up front, while the back is reinforced to handle high impacts. So, whether you're riding tracks with black diamonds marked at the trail head or spend the weekends chasing your next Enduro stage, the EnduroWide has your back

  • Rims | 6069 T6 (490 MPa, + 69% Ultimate Tensile Strength over 6061-T6) welded construction, 33mm/31mm wide (internal), work-hardened shot-peened finish.
  • Hubs | Large body NDRO front hub and 5 degree RapidEngage rear hub, boost (110/148 )or Super-Boost (110/157) spacing. Large double sealed cartridge bearings. Rock Shox Torque Caps for Boost hubs are available.

      All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh rolling-drum fatigue tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. Max system weight 297lbs (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). Please include the weight of any luggage in your total rider weight when choosing the correct wheels. If a rider is over 273lbs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tires at max 40psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset.
