Joachim's Bombtrack Hook EXT-C rig

READER'S RIDE: Joachim's Bombtrack Hook EXT-C

Joachim
We recently featured the Bombtrack Hook EXT-C, but for this weeks Reader's Ride, we are going to shake it up a little and delve into a very specific setup. This week's rig is what Hunt-supported adventure rider, Joachim Rosenlund, used to complete his first 550-mile Scottish Highland Trail epic in 5days, 18hours and 18minutes.

Josh's Mason Definition Bike

READER'S RIDE: Josh's Mason Definition

Mason Definition
We have featured Josh's Mason Definition and three years on make no apology for featuring it again. After dropping a line to Josh only yesterday asking if he could take a photo for this weeks Reader's Ride - no cleaning, no swapping out of different parts, just how it was since the Transcontinental Race (TCR).
Rob's Charge Plug, Bike against a wall

READER'S RIDE: ROB'S CHARGE PLUG

We are very partial to Charge bikes... maybe it is because of how much we appreciate their comfortable saddles have been over the years! But what caught out attention on this bike in-particular was how British this build is! A bike perfect for exploring the gravel bridleways and canal paths criss-crossing the country.
Gosse's Bombtrack Hook 3

READER'S RIDE: GOSSE'S BOMBTRACK HOOK 3

The frameset, supplied by Bombtrack Bicycle Co, is their all-carbon Hook 3 - a CX race machine. Despite its more understated looks, it packs a heft punch thanks to its race-ready build that Gosse will be taking to the limits from January 1st. The drivetrain is the smooth and reliable SRAM Force 1×11, an absolute staple of the CX circuit, with its clutch derailleur and wide/narrow chainring working together to eliminate dropped chains.

The Soma Wolverine full bike photo

Soma 1

San Fransisco based, Soma Fabrications, get it right. The Wolverine crossed our paths when at Eurobike this year. It was certainly an eye catcher with those bars! Set up with SuperDura Dynamo Disc wheels, we finally managed to get our hands on a few professionally shot photos from the kind people over at Traffic Distribution (Soma's German distributor).

Hank jumping over an obstacle in a CX race

READER'S RIDE | Hank's Canyon Inflite

Some bikes are straight-up head-turners. Ones that catch the eye for being a little more left-of-centre seemingly send the cycling word into a frenzy. When the Canyon Inflite was released, it was instantly a hot topic here at Hunt. Some liked it, some didn't and now some have grown to like it. But one thing is for certain - it's different!

Marron Monster

The man of many bikes has once again casually slipped this number into the Reader's Ride segment. Brand Manager for Road & CX, Ollie Gray, has recently turned his beloved Cannondale CAAD7 into "winter-smashing mode".

The Bombtrack Audax Bike

READER'S RIDE: Bombtrack's Audax

Bombtrack 1

Bombtrack bikes are cool. There we said it. Not one to follow the pack and come out with bikes which are high on the fun factor. This new build from Bombtrack might be exactly what you need to compliment long days spent exploring anything which comes your way.

READER'S RIDE: Max's Canyon Training Bike

READER'S RIDE: Max's Canyon Training Bike

When you make a living out of riding fast, you need a fast bike! However, there is always a bike which does all of the work behind the scenes. Sometimes this machine is slightly less glamorous than the race day steed, but it will almost always share the same angles to make sure everything feels familiar come race day.
