<h1>Rims</h1><i>A strong and lightweight HFR+ (High Fatigue Resistance) heat-treated alloy rim. The rim profile is asymmetric and disc-specific. The rim dimensions are 25mm deep and 24mm wide (19mm internal) optimised for 25-28mm tires, but working well for anything 23-45mm.</i>
<h1>Nipples</h1><i>Lightweight, hard-anodised alloy spoke nipples are chosen to accompany the high-end spokes. As well as the standard square body we chose nipples with a hex head so you can achieve precise tensioning.</i>
<h1>Ezo bearings</h1><i> High-grade Japanese EZO bearings. Rear hub upgraded to even faster rolling LU/LB low-friction sealed internal face, dual sealed external face bearings.</i>
<h1>Rim Bed</h1><i>H_LOCK is our tubeless-ready rim bed profile, with up-kicks to the shoulders of the tubeless steps. These help to create an easy initial seal for tubeless tires. The H_LOCK profile also locks the beads in place more securely once seated, enabling you to run lower pressures without worrying about tire deformation.</i>
<h1>Freehub Body</h1><i>Featuring a 3 multi-point pawls with 3 teeth each and a 48 tooth ratchet ring results in an impressively low 7.5 degree engagement angle and excellent resistance to wear under heavy loads. The Sprint freehub has strong individual pawl springs which engage quicker. There is also a Steel Spline Insert re-enforcement to provide excellent durability against cassette sprocket damage often seen on standard alloy freehub bodies.</i>
<h1>Spokes</h1><i>Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement PSR XTRA. These butted blade aero spokes are lighter but also provide a greater degree of elasticity, to maintain spoke tensions longer and add fatigue resistance. These PSR spokes feature the 2.2 width at the spoke head providing more material in this high stress area. Nipples come with a square head for precise tensioning.</i>

The wheelset benefits from a super-light, asymmetric disc-specific rim profile, laced with aero butted, straight-pull spokes to our new Sprint SL hubs, offering 7.5 degree engagement for rapid acceleration under load.

  • Rims | 6061-T6 Heat treated. Tubeless-ready. Disc specific. Asymmetric 25mm profile. Micro-peened finish strengthens the surface even further. H_LOCK bead-seat for easy and secure tubeless installation.
  • Tires | Wide 19mm rim bed creates a wide tire profile. Great with 23 tires, ideal for 25, 28 and cross tires up to 45c. Also work excellently with clincher tires and tubes.
  • Hubs | Sprint SL straight-pull hubs. 15mm diameter 6066-T6 body and axle for supreme strength-to-weight. Circular dropout interface steps for added security in fitment. 3x treble-tooth pawls, resulting in rapid 7.5˚ engagement. Steel spline protect the cassette body.
  • EZO Bearings | High-grade Japanese EZO bearings. Rear hub upgraded to even faster rolling LU/LB low-friction sealed internal face, dual sealed external face bearings.

    • These wheels are compatible with all existing disc-brake road standards. All of our axle adapters are easy to swap, but we'll ensure your wheels arrive ready to fit your bike. After your order checkout is completed, a simple form will show, as well as being sent to you in your confirmation email. The form allows you to select the axle size your bike needs, don't worry it also includes the option to tell us your bike model and we will find out and then fit the correct axles, plus we're happy to change them later at our cost if you don't quite get it right.     All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh cobbled-rolling-road tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. 220lbs is the upper recommended rider weight limit for these wheels. Please include the weight of any luggage in your total rider weight when choosing the correct wheels. If a rider is over 178lbs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tires at max 90psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset. We are cyclists ourselves and do of course go above and beyond to offer excellent service if you ever do experience any issues. We carry full spares at very reasonable prices and offer complete support.
