We have made the most of this and used our new V:Absorbe resin blends in the carbon layering which cures at a lower temperature. Lower temperature resins are less brittle meaning they have greater resistance to impacts and dampen vibration more effectively.</i>

The Purpose _

After years of working with UCI Elite cyclocross racer, Gosse van der Meer, we are excited to present to you the wheels that will be used at the highest level of the sport, the 30 Carbon CX Disc Tubular are built for podium chasers. As huge proponents of tubeless for the vast majority of uses, there can be little argument that tubular tires are the best option for ultimate 'cross performance. The primary reason for this is of course the impossibility of 'burping' air out of your tire when cornering hard.

The CX Race Tubular wheelset couples our race-proven 30mm tubular rim with our 5-degree/6-pawl RapidEngage hub (inclusive of H_CERAMIK freehub and extra seals), and a 24/24 spoke count, resulting in a strong cyclocross wheelset that can mix it with the world's best, or just your rivals in your local races. The 25mm rim width is the ideal platform for a 33c tubular tire, meaning you can hit your local courses with confidence! The bladed spokes reduce weight, add strength and respond instantly to your accelerations when paired with our RapidEngage hubs.

A full 3 years from purchase date warranty is offered to the original purchaser only on all Hunt bike wheels against material or workmanship defects, please click here to read full details.

Stated wheel weights: Our stated wheel weights reflect the wheelset only; without rim tape, tubeless valves or disc brake lock rings, as is industry standard. A 3% variance (lower or higher) in total system weight is normal for wheelset manufacturing.

All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh cobbled-rolling-road tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. Max system weight 275 lb (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If the system is over 242 lb then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tires at max 90psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset. We are cyclists ourselves and do of course go above and beyond to offer excellent service if you ever do experience any issues. We carry full spares at very reasonable prices and offer complete support.
