Ryan Le Garrec smiling at the camera

ELEPHANT - by Ryan Le Garrec

When Ryan Le Garrec came to us with his vision to produce a film that truly gets under the skin of ultra racing and what it means to those taking part, we were in from the start. We spoke to Josh, who confirmed Ryan is the real deal, and the two spent some time together at BikingMan Oman. The result? The trailer for what we think will grow to be a pivotal documentary.

Hunt Brand Manager, Ollie, prepped and ready to explore

LOST IN SPACE

Today is the first time in 2 months that an ever-shifting tug of war, between excitement & terror, has given way entirely. In its wake lies only a quiet anxiety. Why? I’m flying to Morocco tomorrow to go solo on my first ever bikepacking trip, and I’ve never bivvi‘d in my life. To borrow some wisdom from the fantastic storyteller Phil Knight; the accountant in me sees the risk, the entrepreneur sees the opportunity, and so I split the difference and keep moving forward.
Hunt Wheels stacked up ready for the day

Gosse racing with the Hunt crew looking on

GETTING TO THE HEART OF CYCLOCROSS...

We started working with Gosse almost exactly a year ago, to help us better understand cyclocross as being one of the most demanding disciplines out there on your equipment - especially your wheels! Every sponsorship avenue we explore, must revolve around the principles of innovation and development. Working closely with Gosse is no exception. The fact that he's a super nice guy & a pleasure to be around... well that's just a welcome bonus

TCR Rider with his bike

READER'S RIDES: TRANSCONTINENTAL RACE NO.6 SETUPS

This is a first for Reader's Ride - we are featuring all of the wheels currently out there taking on the Transcontinental Race. On dispatch out at the start in Geraardsbergen, Belgium, 2015 Winner and Hunt team member Josh Ibbett was there to check out the brave souls taking on the epic race to Meteroa, Greece.
Dan Evans Cannondale Supersix Evo in all it's glory

READER'S RIDES: Dan's Cannondale SuperSix Evo Hill Climb Machine

This is Dan Evan's current hill climb bike and first impressions show that this is not far from what you or I will call a standard road bike. There is bar tape; a padded saddle; brakes front and rear; the handlebar drops have not been taken to with a hacksaw and there is no visible drillium action going on. He even has Bottle cages! So what makes this a hill climb bike...?
Cotic Flaremax in the woods

READER'S RIDE | DREAM BUILD: COTIC FLAREMAX

There are few bikes with as much reputation as Cotic Bikes. From their 26" ain't dead videos to their choice to stick with Steel as being their material of choice for their iconic frames. Having known the team at Cotic for a while (Jack Tweddle at Hunt rode their very first full suspension prototypes), we felt it was only fitting to choose the all-new FlareMAX to show off the TrailWide 29" wheels.
Josh's Candy Purple Caad12 Disc

READER'S RIDE | DREAM BUILD: JOSH'S CAAD12disc

We are absolutely loving these dream bikes coming on through. While we really do like all kinds of bikes, these ones are something truly special and have that extra bit of oomph that make our heads turn - so what's not to like?

Spin-Up in a brewery logo

SPIN-UP IN A BREWERY IS BACK!

After taking a short break since the last event in 2015, “Spin Up in a Brewery” is back by popular demand! Established in 2012, it is again a collaboration between two West Sussex based companies, the craft brewery Dark Star and bicycle brand Kinesis UK. Spin Up in a Brewery brings together Bikes, Beer and BBQ for a day of fun at the Dark Star.

Everyone is invited to either just come along and soak-up the fun with like-minded people or for those that want to take part to win great prizes they can compete in static bike racing knock-out rounds throughout the day with grand final winners crowned at the end of the afternoon.
