SLC Hubs

HUNT Sprint SLC hubs add strength and enhance power transfer, meaning more of your power pushing you forwards. The hub shell is a cold-forged 7000 series alloy, offering a greater strength-to-weight ratio than extruded 6000 series alloys.

Developed by HUNT's in-house engineering team, with years in the wind tunnel spent testing every last detail. We've left no stone unturned in designing this wheelset from the ground up to be very fastest in the world within its class.

TECHNOLOGY _

The HUNT 60 Limitless Aero Disc wheelset was designed to provide riders maximum aerodynamic benefit in a system that maintains predictable, stable ride characteristics. Patented Limitless width technology, developed by HUNT's in-house engineering team along with Pete Marchment (Co-Founder & Materials Scientist), utilises co-molded low-density polymer (density of 0.7g/cm3 vs. carbon fiber pre-perg of 1.6g/cm3) in the outer rim construction to achieve an extra wide profile optimized for 25-28c tires, while keeping overall rim weight low.


We've wind tunnel tested our 48 and 60 Limitless UD Carbon Spoke Disc wheelsets against our original steel spoke version, as well as their relevant competitive set. Compared to their steel spoke counterparts, both the 48 and 60 Limitless UD Carbon Spoke Disc wheelsets perform very similarly (within the margin of error for standardised wind tunnel testing), suggesting there is no material aerodynamic penalty associated with the bladed UD Carbon Spokes. To review all the wind tunnel data, we welcome riders to review the provided graphs below.
