This innovative approach allowed for optimized performance tailored to the unique demands of front and rear wheels. Building on this foundation, HUNT further refined designs in the V2 iteration of EnduroWide, adjusting the internal width of the rims: a wider front rim for improved traction and comfort and a narrower rear rim enhanced with internal bracing for increased strength and impact resistance. These strategic enhancements provided riders a balanced and responsive ride across mixed terrain.

HUNT extended this innovative thinking to carbon MTB wheels, first adapting the carbon layup in the All-Mountain Carbon H_Impact series and later in the Proven range of wheelsets spanning race XC, XC, Enduro and EMTB disciplines. By fine-tuning the carbon layup differently for front and rear wheels, HUNT achieved a significant contrast in weight and tailored the ride characteristics even further.
