Designed for 2.3"-2.5" tyres, the 30mm internal rim provides support to the tyre when you drop into in a root strewn shoot or you're throttling down a high-speed section and folding a tyre is the last thing you need to happen!</i>

Whether you're doing a back-country epic or pedalling between stages, we have paid attention to weight to suit the type of riding they will be subjected too. For example, using the highest quality Pillar triple butted spokes with PSR (Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement) has allowed us to not only create a stronger wheel with a higher spoke count, but one which does not add a weight penalty.</i>

The Trail Wide hubs have been chosen to increase stiffness, bearing durability and overall strength of your wheelset. On the rear, the RapidEngage MTB hubs with a fast 5 degree engagement, means you will be able to clear those janky tech climbs with ease.</i>
<h1>Front Hub</h1><i>Suited to match the needs of the modern trail bike rider. Featuring durable bearings and 7075-T6 series alloy axles to increase stiffness. These hubs have been selected based on their ability to perform on the most aggressive trails. </i>
<h1>Spokes</h1><i>We have chosen top of the line, triple butted Pillar Spokes with increased reinforcement at the spoke head. Not only are these spokes extremely lightweight, they are also able to provide a greater degree of elasticity when put under increased stress. The Pillar Spoke Reinforcement (PSR) puts more material at the spoke head, just before the J-Bend to prevent failure in this stress area.</i>
<h1>Rim Profile</h1><i>Like all of our wheels, the Hunt MTB line-up is designed to be used as a tubeless system. Featuring a H-Lock rim bead with 'up-kicks' to the shoulders of the rim bed secures your tyre when seated. This prevents side-to-side movement reducing the chance of burping your tyre. It creates a great rim-well seal for first installation and easy sealing of tubeless tyres. Still haven't made the switch? All our wheels are tube compatible as well.</i>

Combining the all-new 30mm internal rim profile, with new hubs and spoke configurations, results in a wheel that keeps the outward appearance of it's predecessor yet provide 20% more impact resistance.

      All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh rolling-drum fatigue tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. 264lbs is the upper recommended rider weight limit for these wheels. Please include the weight of any luggage in your total rider weight when choosing the correct wheels. If a rider is over 240lbs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tires at max 40psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset.

      Schwalbe Hans Dampf 2.35" Snake Skin Soft Front / Rear

      The Hans Dampf is one of the most balanced tires out there. Providing superior control on rough terrain as well as amazing grip in flowy singletrack, the Hans Dampf is the best kind of all-rounder. The high-volume casing offers maximum braking traction and cornering grip for when the trail becomes aggressive. But when gravity stops working its magic, the Hans Dampf will not leave you behind. The continuous tread pattern is closely spaced meaning that this tire tracks well and has a lower rolling resistance over more aggressive options.

      Choose this tire combo for your Trail Wide wheels if you want an all-round option for your aggressive XC or trail bike. We love this tire when the trails are a little dryer and demand a faster rolling option.
