With one of the most interesting Giro's to ever happen in recent memory, we thought we'd share Luisa Grappone's (Hunt in-house engineer) ride up the Passo della Borcola. While the Borcola will rarely headline in the Giro, it packs a punch that even the climbers will feel.
Separating the Province of Trento and Vincenza, it climbs to a modest height of 1,207m. Luisa set out on an out-and-back style ride before adding a loop to take in the pass. At a touch over 150km and 2570m of climbing its no easy jaunt and well worth a pizza at the end.
