In-house testing is something we take very seriously here at HUNT and having 24/7 access to our new engineering facility and custom impact test rig ensures we are 100% confident that each new HUNT wheelset meets our high standards. Rims | Tailored carbon construction with 3k carbon weave reinforcement. Both front and rear rims feature tuned profiles with a future-proof 30mm internal rim width, vibration damping 22mm rim depth, and ample rim well depth for pain-free tire installation.
Hubs | Precision CNC machined Hunt straight pull spoke hubs with extra bearing shielding. 5-degree RapidEngage rear hub, boost (110/148 ) spacing. Large double sealed cartridge bearings. Rock Shox Torque Caps are available.
Spokes | 28F/28R Spoke Count, Triple Butted, Cold forged, Straight pull, Pillar XTRA 1420 spokes for increased strength and low weight.
Tires | Optimised for 2.4"-2.6" tire widths, but also work very well with 2.25"-2.8".
Bearings | Super smooth, replaceable, 6092 RS Revo bearings offer fast rolling performance. Dual full-contact seals and long-lasting, heat-resistant grease protect against water ingress for longer service intervals.
Axles | 15mm axles for strength and stiffness, reduced flex in the hub also helps to increase bearing life.
Hand-built | All of our wheels are built and finished by hand, inclusive of a full quality control inspection.

Suitable tubeless MTB tire combinations are available to be fitted to your Hunt Proven Carbon Race Enduro Wheels.

RapidEngage 5 degree, 3x2 freehub for increased resistance to the extra torque generated.

H_CERAMIK freehub body reinforcement coating provides excellent durability and protects against cassette sprocket damage to the freehub often seen on standard alloy freehub bodies.

Warranty, Support and Weight Limits

These wheels come with H_CARE (Free Lifetime Crash Replacement) for the first owners when used with single crown forks. Read all about it here.

All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh rolling-drum fatigue tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. Max system weight 297lbs (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If a rider is over 273lbs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tires at max 40psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset.

We are cyclists ourselves and do of course go above and beyond to offer excellent service if you ever do experience any issues. We carry full spares at very reasonable prices and offer complete support.

60 Day Ride & Return Period. We are certain you'll be impressed by the acceleration, low-weight, speed and durability of our wheels. We are cyclists and as such strive to offer class leading service and support. Buy with confidence, if for any reason you wish to return the wheels for a full refund of your order you can do so up to a full 60 days after you receive them whether they have been ridden or not. Please note we cannot offer refunds on wheels that have suffered from crash damage but do offer H_CARE (Free Lifetime Crash Replacement) on these wheels.
